TETO, Building a Society Without Poverty

The Social Action Group of Management Solutions Brazil once again partnered with the TETO Foundation to build a home for a family living in a situation of vulnerability

Approximately 25 professionals from the Firm participated in this initiative, which involved building a prefabricated home/house for a low-income family. The project took place over three days of intensive teamwork and concluded with the delivery of the home to the family.

The TETO Foundation is a nonprofit organization that brings together efforts and resources to transform the lives of families living in extreme poverty by building emergency housing and developing basic infrastructure solutions, including access to clean water, sanitation, and electricity.

The Social Action Group initially launched a fundraising campaign to purchase the materials needed for the construction. This initiative was supported by Management Solutions, which matched the amount contributed by the Firm’s professionals. Volunteers actively participated in every stage of the project, from preparing materials to painting the walls. On this occasion, the house was built in an Indigenous community and delivered to a family consisting of a couple and their two young children. At the same time, the TETO Foundation built nine additional homes within the same community, helping provide dignified housing for other families in the area.
