After the damages caused by the earthquake that shook Mexico on September 7, the Social Action Group in our Mexico office organized a collection to support the thousands of affected families, especially in the regions of Chiapas and Oaxaca. Thanks to the generosity of Management Solutions professionals and to the Firm's contribution, it was possible to collect 500 kilos of relief goods that were delivered in one of the collection centers authorized by the Mexican Red Cross.
A few days later, in response to the second earthquake which took place on September 19, a second campaign was launched with the participation of both professionals and the Firm. On this occasion the aid was delivered directly by volunteers from our Mexico Social Action group to the affected families in the Xochimilco delegation (especially in the neighborhoods that were most affected, such as Santa Cruz Acalpixca, San Gregorio Atlapulco, Barrio San Juan Moyotepec and Nativitas), an area of difficult access that was therefore suffering a delay in receiving aid from the authorities responsible and, consequently, a shortage of food.
