Training on climate risk management organized by IFC and ABIF

Management Solutions participated as a trainer in the conference on Sustainable Finance and Climate Change organized by the International Finance Corporation (IFC)—a member of the World Bank Group—and the Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Chile (ABIF), aimed at professionals in the Chilean financial sector

The training focused on supporting Chilean financial institutions in incorporating ESG criteria and adapting to new regulatory requirements promoted by the Financial Market Commission (CMF) as part of its strategy for more robust and resilient climate management. During the meeting, key issues related to climate risk management in the financial sector were addressed, including local and international regulations, sustainability standards, physical and transition risk measurement, and disclosure strategies aligned with regulatory frameworks such as the TCFD. 

Liliana Martínez, Director at Management Solutions, participated as a trainer in the program, delivering a presentation on best practices and case studies for identifying and mitigating environmental risks in credit portfolios.
