Management Solutions, the Chair of Social Impact at Comillas Pontifical University, and Microbank organized a working meeting in Barcelona to share the key findings of the new report “Financial Well-being: A Shared Value Approach for the Financial Sector” and to open a space for dialogue on the role of the financial sector in improving people’s financial well-being

During the session, Soledad Díaz-Noriega, partner at Management Solutions, presented the key messages in the report, which analyzes the challenges of advancing financial inclusion and financial health, identifies best practices and methodologies for measuring them, and proposes strategies to support clients in progressively improving their financial well-being.

The event, hosted by Cristina González Viu (CEO of Microbank), also featured a roundtable discussion moderated by Carlos Ballesteros (Director of the Chair of Social Impact at Comillas Pontifical University), with the participation of Elena Martín Martín, Director of Communication and Social Impact at Microbank; Sandra González Urbano, Director of Cross-Cutting Projects and Sustainability Communications at CaixaBank; Emili Pascual Carreras, Director of Corporate Culture at Banco Sabadell; and Sergio Rodríguez Pérez, Director of Sustainability at Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar.

During the roundtable discussion, participants explored the key challenges and opportunities facing the financial sector as it works to improve society’s financial well-being, as well as the role that financial institutions can play through innovation, financial inclusion, and customer support.
