Management Solutions sponsored one of the prizes in the Business Problem Modeling contest, an activity organized by the Mathematical Sciences Department at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) to challenge undergraduate and combined degree students
UCM’s Mathematical Sciences Department, in collaboration with several companies, organized a Business Problem Modeling contest in which students had to successfully solve business problems using mathematical methods for Machine Learning.
The Management Solutions sponsored award included a cash prize and went to the "NPL" team, formed by Lucía Miranzo Fuentes and Juan Manuel Labrador Muñoz, for their solution to the problem of "Interpretability in Credit Risk". On this occasion, the Firm also wanted to give a special mention to the "TFC" team, formed by David Rubio López and Marco Catroppa, which came in second place.
