Actuar.IA International Seminar by the Argentine Association of Actuaries

Management Solutions participated in the International Seminar “Actuar.IA: The Actuary in the Face of the Artificial Intelligence Revolution,” organized by the Argentine Association of Actuaries (SAAC) in Buenos Aires

 

The event brought together actuaries, insurance professionals, academics, and technology experts to explore the impact of artificial intelligence on actuarial practice and risk management business models.

Over two days, participants addressed some of the key challenges and opportunities arising from the adoption of artificial intelligence in the sector, including its application in actuarial practice, the development of AI-based insurance products, the role of regulators in overseeing these technologies, and the impact of AI on areas such as financial risks, fraud, and insurtech innovation.

Hernán Enríquez, partner at the Firm, participated in the seminar, sharing his perspective on the key challenges and trends facing the financial sector in implementing AI, highlighting the shift from an approach initially focused on efficiency toward models that seek to harness the potential of these technologies to drive innovation.
