Yearly Meeting 2026: Making things happen in the age of AI

On July 10, the Yearly Meeting 2026 was held in Madrid, bringing together more than 1,600 professionals from across the Firm and featuring Hortensia Roig, President of EDEM and member of Mercadona’s Board of Directors, as guest speaker

During the event, which was held under the theme Making things happen in the age of AI, Mr. Alfonso Serrano-Suñer, President of Management Solutions, reviewed the Firm's strategic foundations, the achievements of FY26 and the challenges for FY27, grouped around the six strategic pillars of our management: diversification, profitable growth, R&D innovation, people management, communication and organizational flexibility. Mr. Ignacio Layo, Partner at Management Solutions, reviewed the macroeconomic environment and discussed the outlook for the coming year. Subsequently, both outlined the changes made to corporate governance to align it with the Firm's current scale and support its future growth. The event also featured Ms. Hortensia Roig, Chair of EDEM and a member of Mercadona's Board of Directors, as the guest speaker, who was interviewed by Management Solutions' President.

Furthermore, during the Yearly Meeting, the Management Solutions Symphony of Values was presented. This musical composition was created by Mr. Carlos Criado (Musical Thinkers – Reina Sofía School of Music) with contributions from Management Solutions professionals, who had taken part in musical co-creation workshops over recent months, and was performed by 25 students from the Reina Sofía School of Music.
