Symphony of Values

The Management Solutions Symphony of Values is a unique work born from the collaboration between the Reina Sofía School of Music, Musical Thinkers, and professionals at Management Solutions. More than just a musical composition, it is the artistic expression of a shared culture, built upon the history, principles, and approach to work that define the Firm.

The symphony premiered during the 2026 Yearly Meeting held at the Teatro Real before an audience of more than 1,600 people, and was performed by students from the Reina Sofía School of Music, conducted by its composer, Carlos Criado (view the photo gallery).

The project brought together professionals from different disciplines, offices, and locations in a series of creative workshops where, guided by musicians and composers, they explored what it means to be part of Management Solutions. Concepts such as commitment to the client, dedication to service, excellence, humility, integrity, entrepreneurship, and teamwork gradually took shape, eventually becoming the musical themes that structure the symphony’s five movements. This collaborative journey reflected—even in its creative process—the way the Firm’s professionals work every day: bringing together different perspectives, talent, and enthusiasm to achieve a common goal.

The Symphony of Values represents the Firm’s history, its present, and its vision for the future. It is a tribute to the talent of the people who make up Management Solutions and an invitation to experience, through music, the essence of an organization that has made its values the driving force behind its growth and the foundation on which it will continue to build its future.

I. Client-focused since our inception

The symphony´s first movement evokes the Firm’s founding and how a commitment to customer service was at the heart of everything from the very beginning. The violins gradually join in, like a seed that grows and evolves, giving the ensemble greater strength and an epic character—the result of overcoming difficulties and obstacles to reach the goal: serving our clients and exceed their expectations.

Key elements of the first movement:

• Beginning (gradual entry of the violins): The birth of our organization—a seed that expands and evolves into a top-tier team, combining expert knowledge and deep commitment as it embarks on a shared project.

• An epic origin: A team defined by a strong determination to face obstacles and overcome challenges in order to deliver what clients need and aspires to achieve, growing together along the way.

• The team as “an orchestra”: The strings, together with the winds and percussion, represent a united and cohesive multidisciplinary team, always working in service of the client.

• Introduction to the second movement on the theme of service (at 2 minutes and 11 seconds, with the oboe solo): The melody that will fully unfold in the second movement is already planted here. Indeed, the Firm’s commitment to service—heard in the violins and accompanied by the oboe in counterpoint—has been present from our very beginning.

• Closing / subsequent pause: The moments of calmer music that follows at times symbolize the “warrior’s rest,” and how the team cares for and encourages one another before taking on the next challenge.

II. Dedication to service

A solo cello opens the movement, representing the client and the challenge they bring to us. Gradually, the Management Solutions team becomes involved, surrounding the client, listening, understanding, and analyzing the situation. Together, they embrace the challenge and workas a team until it is resolved—transforming it into a new opportunity for learning and growth.

Key elements of the second movement:

• Solo cello (beginning): Represents the client approaching the Firm with a problem, a challenge, or a need.

• Violin entrance: Represents the Firm, which listens to the client, places itself at their service, and leads the search for a solution with dedication. The violin is the first to harmonize with the challenge, understand it, and share it with its team.

• Gradual entry of the strings with short notes: the team analyzes the challenge from different angles, making it their own.

• Moment of ascent (“elevation”): The music rises, symbolizing the emergence of effective and concrete solutions (the trumpet).

• The theme transforms: the challenge becomes an opportunity: the music takes on a more powerful character, moving toward a more positive harmony that symbolizes how the initial challenge has been transformed into an opportunity.

• Passage with a marked rhythm, all in unison: Represents the disciplined and coordinated work of the entire team.

• Finale: The melody of the challenge—now understood, analyzed, and resolved—is revisited, and the movement ends calmly. The client can rest assured in the hands of the Management Solutions team.

III. Commitment to Excellence

The piano, as a symbol of personal commitment to excellence and a job well done, takes center stage in the symphony’s third movement, revisiting the central theme introduced in the first movement but now in a majestic key.

The Key Elements of the Third Movement:

• The opening piano symbolizes a personal commitment to excellence and the desire to do things right. Meanwhile, the orchestral development that follows represents collective commitment. In short, it embodies impeccable work, done well, bearing both an individual and collective “seal of quality.”

• Main theme (formal, solemn): The melody draws on elements from the first movement, but now takes on a majestic quality at times, evoking the idea that effort is rewarded.

• The middle section (piano, oboe, orchestra, and French horn in the development) transports us to the process of continuous improvement, where small piano notes (“tiny atoms”) represent the tireless day-to-day work and the perseverance with which the Firm’s teams carry out their work. Its bold harmony, also represents the quest at the frontiers of knowledge: research and technology in the service of the client and the growth of both the individual and the Firm.

• Reference to the training journey: Evokes the idea of almost university-level training continuous improvement, and the pursuit of fulfillment and excellence.

• Finale (piano solo): Symbolizes the attainment of excellence, thereby achieving personal satisfaction from a job well done. The intentional cut at the end conveys that this “will continue,” and that the process of continuous improvement never truly ends.

IV. Humility and Integrity

A solo oboe carries the weight of the fourth movement, evoking profound spiritual values rooted in a spirit of dedication and service shared by all members of the Firm—a spirit that reminds us that at Management Solutions, the client comes first, then the team, and finally oneself.

The keys to the fourth movement:

• The soloist (oboe) carries the weight of the melody: Represents someone who recognizes their own smallness in the face of the greatness that surrounds them. The humility to serve. The oboe connects to an idea of deep, spiritual values—of a person of integrity in any circumstance.

• The continuity of the theme, almost without pause, represents integrity from start to finish. Humility and integrity always go hand in hand.

• Minor harmonic fluctuations / dissonances: The theme navigates various tensions but always stays true to its course, finding its path by drawing on the Firm’s corporate culture and the values deeply rooted in its professionals.

• Constant oboe thread: Symbolizes that humility and integrity never disappear. Although at times they may sound like a simple thread of sound so faint that it might not seem relevant, they are central to the Firm.

• Second appearance of the theme, building in intensity: Shows how, starting from humility, one can grow into something great, also inspiring others, who join in and take up the theme (orchestra and piano). From the small to the great, from the individual to the collective. Only those who attend to the fine details with humility can inspire others to achieve great things. The idea of the legacy of humility.

• Finale: The theme ends in stillness, at peace with itself, knowing that the right thing has been done. The movement transports us through its reflective nature: for those who live and work in accordance with values of integrity, everything unfolds with meaning, naturalness, and fluidity.

V. Entrepreneurship

The violins and piano that open the fifth movement present a melody symbolizing the entrepreneur—a metaphor for someone who drives a project forward, faces difficulties, does not give up, perseveres, and keeps trying until success is achieved. The movement flows seamlessly into a final recapitulation that weaves together all the themes of the symphony.

Key Elements of the Fifth Movement:

• Opening melody (violins with a response from the piano): Represents the entrepreneur presenting an idea. The idea is first presented and then restated as the idea grows.

• Steady background rhythm: Symbolizes constant progress driven by the excitement of something yet to come. The rhythm is just as important as the idea. It represents perseverance.

• Development of the idea (violins): After returning to the idea, it rises with greater force, but at a certain point it falters. It’s normal to fail when venturing into new territory. However, the entrepreneur picks up the idea again and finally achieves the goal.

• Restatement with trumpet: this time, the trumpet leads the theme, representing determination, and the orchestra joins the piano. Through perseverance, we arrive at a more appropriate solution.

• Final Recap: This entrepreneurial journey flows seamlessly into a final recap. Management Solutions is the result of the entrepreneurial spirit of each and every one of its professionals, which in just over two decades has grown into a multinational corporation. The cycle comes full circle, and all the themes from the previous movements reappear in condensed and interconnected form, demonstrating that all values are interwoven and essential for elevating the team and achieving the group’s full potential.

• At the end of the Symphony, the opening theme is revisited, client-centered from our very beginnings, in constant dialogue between the pursuit of excellence and our commitment to service. The powerful finale represents the strength of the team—the idea that together “there is no limit” to what we can achieve, and that nothing can stand between the team and ultimate success.
