14,137 Kilometers for Cancer Research and Support

One of the winning teams from the latest edition of Solidarity Kilometers visited the Madrid headquarters of the Spanish Association Against Cancer to present the donation raised through the initiative

 

For one week, Management Solutions professionals took part in the fifth edition of Solidarity Kilometers, an initiative organized by our Social Action Group in which every kilometer covered by participants –​whether running or walking– is matched by a one-euro donation from the Firm to cancer research through the Spanish Association Against Cancer. Thanks to the commitment of our professionals worldwide, 14,137 kilometers were covered in just one week, which the Firm converted into a donation of €14,137.

The MStamina Café team (made up of Guillermo Lladró, Javier Zumárraga, Jorge Areces, Natalia Outon, and Sara Revuelta), which placed third, was responsible for presenting the donation to the Association. The visit began with a tour of the facilities led by Alejandro Ignacio Aguado, Key Account Manager at the Association, allowing our professionals to learn more about the free prevention and support services offered to both patients and their loved ones.

The visit continued with a presentation of the Physical Exercise and Cancer Unit by its coordinator, Ángel Carrasco, a key initiative dedicated to improving patients' quality of life.

The Spanish Association Against Cancer is a non-profit organization that has spent more than 70 years fighting cancer by supporting patients and their families, promoting prevention and health education programs, providing assistance to patients and relatives, and funding oncology research projects aimed at improving cancer diagnosis and treatment.
