More than 30,500 runners from 836 different companies participated at the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, a 5.6 km. race that was held at Battersea Park in London as part of an initiative organized by J.P. Morgan in thirteen cities across seven countries with the goal of promoting values such as teamwork, health and commitment to the environment.
The London race also helped to raise funds for the organization Cancer Research UK, an organization that works to save lives by preventing cancer, diagnosing it earlier and developing new and less aggressive treatments.
