Reforestation Day with Saving the Amazon

For the fourth consecutive year, the Social Action Group from our Colombia office organized a reforestation day at the Buenos Aires farm in Tenjo (Cundinamarca), in collaboration with Saving the Amazon

More than 50 professionals from the Firm participated in a tree-planting and environmental training event organized by our Colombia Social Action Group in collaboration with Saving the Amazon.

During the event, volunteers helped restore the tropical dry forest ecosystem by replacing old eucalyptus plantations with native species, with the goal of rehabilitating streams and promoting the conservation of the region’s flora and fauna. In addition to planting trees, participants received training on the importance of forests, the climate crisis, and the Amazon’s vital role, and took part in various team-building and environmental awareness activities.

The “MS Forest” now includes more than 780 planted trees, and the initiative involves the maintenance and monitoring of native species for 36 months following planting. Thanks to the Firm’s collaboration with Saving the Amazon, three communities in the Amazon have benefited from this environmental restoration project to date.
